DAY 1 - JUNE 22, 2021: ARRIVAL AT NAIROBI
Towards the evening, we will land in the capital of Kenya - Nairobi. Full of excitement, we will arrive at our hotel for dinner and get ready for the start of our journey.
DAY 2 - JUNE 23, 2021: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
After a good breakfast, we’ll head out to the National Park. This reserve is known for its huge elephant herds, and for being located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, which offers a unique backdrop for amazing photo opportunities! Also, the reserve is home to many animals, such as: giraffes, cheetahs, zebras and of course hundreds of species of birds.
After returning to the lodge, time permitting, we will hold a fascinating lecture on animal photography.

DAY 3 - JUNE 24, 2021: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
We’ll get up before sunrise and head out to another safari in the Amboseli National Park, taking advantage of the ideal lighting conditions for photography and search for predators and the famous elephant herds.
Towards noon, we will continue to Nairobi, with a particularly interesting surprise on the way.
Dinner at a restaurant in town, and arrival at the hotel.
DAY 4 - JUNE 25, 2021: MAASAI MARA
After breakfast we’ll head out to one of the highlights of the trip - the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Its name is the combination of the name of the local Maasai tribe and the Mara River which passes through the reserve. Maasai Mara is considered one of Africa's most beautiful and diverse nature reserves and is home to almost 100 different species of mammals, close to 400 bird species and of course Africa's Big Five - the elephant, lion, rhino, African buffalo and tiger.
The reserve is also home to 5 male cheats that have been roaming and hunting together over the past few years - a very rare sight!
After sunset, we will return to the lodge for dinner and, time permitting, hold another photography lesson to further enhance our animal photography techniques.

DAY 9 – July 1,2021: NAIROBI - TEL AVIV
After breakfast at the hotel, loaded with incredible experiences, we will make our way to the Nairobi Airport and start our journey back home.
DAYS 5-7 – June 26-29, 2021: THE PARADISE OF MAASAI MARA
We are headed for a few full days in Paradise, which is the Maasai Mara.
We’ll start every day before sunrise, when the low light allows us to photograph silhouettes of the animals in the vast expanses of the reserve. We’ll search for the famous lion prides that roam the rocky areas, the cheetahs, the tigers, the hyenas and if we’re lucky we’ll see the big half of the Mara River, which every year serves as a border crossing for tens of thousands of wildebeests and zebras during the great Tanzania-Kenya migration.

DAY 8 – JUNE 30, 2021: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI
At sunrise, packed with breakfast, we will go to one more safari in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. And towards noon, we'll head back to the capital - Nairobi.

Participants must purchase full insurance for all the usual and adventure activity expected on the trip, including accidents and medical insurance. As in any trip, especially to a remote destination whose infrastructure of tourism, transport, rescue, evacuation, and medical services are very poor, problems and injuries may occur. By signing up for this trip, the participant declares that he/she understands and accepts the expected and unexpected dangers that may occur and could cause serious injury and even worse and that his/her physical health and mental strength are sufficient for such a journey. The participants must ensure that they have received all the information they need before embarking on the trip.
You must purchase a comprehensive and extended insurance policy that covers all the activities during the trip (including winter sports and air medical services). This includes personal insurance, baggage insurance, full adventure travel insurance, including medical evacuation from remote and dangerous areas and subsequent treatment in Israel or your home country, as well as trip cancellation insurance. Phototeva does not insure or provide insurance coverage for participants. Participants must purchase full insurance coverage for all the regular and extreme activities expected on the expedition, including accident and medical insurance. Participants are responsible for purchasing the required insurance policy.
As with any trip, preparations are required, such as vaccinations, visa arrangements, etc. Phototeva cannot provide such information as it varies from person to person.
Local authorizes are likely to ask you to show proof that you have received needed vaccinations.
If the participant has a medical problem that may interfere with or prevent him/her from taking part in the various trip activities, he/she must notify the company before registration and tell the guide at the start of the trip. In some cases, you will be required to provide a doctor’s note from the attending physician in order to join the trip. Without this permission, you cannot participate.
If a visa is required, it is the responsibility of travelers to make sure it is obtained. Phototeva will not be responsible for the refusal of entry for visitors or even the entire group. The decision is made only by local authorities.
The trip is contingent upon a minimum number of participants.
Phototeva and the trip organizers cannot guarantee that you will sight or photograph any particular animal. Nature is totally wild and there are many variables that can affect this.
Changes and schedule delays may occur due to reasons including, but not limited to: extreme weather, animal location, mechanical faults, local government decision, and more. The final decision on the schedule will be determined by the training team.
In very rare cases, the instructor may be replaced before the start of the trip.
In rare cases, Phototeva may cancel the trip at any stage and provide a refund.
