The Pantanal is a natural region encompassing the world's largest tropical wetland area. It is located within the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Various sub regional ecosystems exist, each with distinct hydrological, geological and ecological characteristics, making this region as diverse as it is beautiful.
Roughly 80% of the Pantanal floodplains are submerged during the rainy seasons, nurturing a biologically diverse collection of aquatic plants and supporting a wide variety of animal species. Join us on a journey into the wild!

DAY 8 - Nort Pousada Piuval
On our journey upstream to the Northern Pousada Porte Jofre, we'll continue exploring the wonder that is the Pantanal, searching for jaguars and giant river otters. Hear the birds' calls and fluttering wings from above, see the scattering in the leaves, taste the moist, thick air, and immerse yourself in the mystery and intrigue of the deep jungles of Brazil.
DAY 9 - In the search for the Giant anteaters
There's nothing quite as exhilerating as seeing the action of the wild, untamed jungle. On our Pantanal expedition, we'll search for predators, specifically, the jaguar. We'll also search for the giant anteater in the swamps along the way. Use the skills you've gained over the past week to photograph the wildlife and capture the mysticism of the wilderness.
DAY 10 - Goodbye Pantanal
After an early breakfast, during which we’ll reflect on all our wonderful experiences and share our photos, we'll start heading back to the airport. Returning home after this exhilerating journey can be difficult, so it's a good thing you have all those photos to relive this experience from home.
